If you choose to create an DigitalArc account, you must provide us with some personal information, such as your username, password, email address. On some of our services your username will be listed publicly, including on your profile page and in search results. Some of our services do not require you to create an account. Your password will never be shown and is stored as a secure hash.

When you register you give us permission to send you Account information such as: security, confirmation, reset links and such. Service information such as: Friend requests, Service updates and such. Help others find your account, including through third-party services and client applications. (Your email will not be public and is only viewable by the Administrators of DigitalArc or it's third-parties with permission from you.).

When you purchase something from our website, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

Some services will require your IP address and may display it publicly to your friends or for every logged in user. We will try to make it hard to link your IP to you. But for some services if you have only one friend they will know it's yours as it's the only IP showing up.


How do you get my consent?

When you create an DigitalArc account you will have to accept that we will collect personal information.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, to do this you will have to terminate you account. We may send you verification emails based on this, or in actions you have started that have not yet finished, etc a order, legal issue or a complaint.


We may disclose your personal information if required by law.


Our website is hosted on our own Servers in Norway unless specified otherwise.

Your data is stored through our own data storage, databases and the general services we provide. We store your data on secure servers behind firewalls.


In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

We will not collect Credit card information, if we do, this will be sent to our third-party payment providers. We will not store this data.


Like many websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect additional website usage data and to improve our Services, but we do not require cookies for many parts of our Services such as searching and looking at public user profiles. All our services are logged to find security issues and other instability issues, these logs may contain: username, email, and user ID and the current action the user was performing. These logs will help us solve issues, support users and make our services better.

Logs are only available to the people who the permission of the site owner to perform action on them, if we need to address issues outside our network we will strip them from all personal information.

Logs are stored for a month if not specified differently, after a month the logs are wiped. If we have a ongoing issue we will keep the logs until the issue can be fixed or is marked as "Can't fix".
